Breath of Final Release

by LadyPearl   Nov 15, 2005

Finally the awaited breath of release
the breath that shall take me away
having no one now to please
I have no reason to stay
My life caught up in storms
flooded by centered pain
harmony shall be borne
to caress this lost ordain
Belonging to the dead
And cities made of tears
recovering on my bed
no longer a need to fear

Soon my life will fly
to great heights of ease
my misery shall now die
to free me from disease
Travel upon golden wings
where lonely souls are free
to sing and to bring
what ever their wish to be

This breath of sacred songs
enchantment to fulfill
a place I shall belong
where fantasy is real
spellbind eyes of mine
to where the city lies
place where we have time
once again to fly

Away from the shadow nights
hidden from the dark
to live again in light
joy shall flood my heart
to see the things I love
This final breath inside
shall sent me to above
never again to hide

Great poem. the structure is very effective and the rhyming subbtle so doesn't interupt the flow nor distract from the meaning.
