Mysterious Dream

I once had a dream
About me and you,
A dream about loving you
And the love I felt was true.
We were walking on a sandy beach
Under a full lit moon,
Hoping that my dream
Would truly come real soon
We walked right into
The night's foggy mist,
We looked at each other
And then we kissed.
The kiss woke me up
As quickly as could be,
When suddenly I saw you
Standing over me.
You held me in your arms,
Your hug felt so tight
Softly you spoke,
"Did you have fun last night?"
I sat up thinking
And suddenly it hit,
But it was just a dream...
Or was it?
