Jesus

When my grandfather was in the
ICU, he was so sick and weak

I knew I could do something
other than sit and watch him die

So the next day I came to his room
and read him poems and passages
for some of his favorte books

He seemed to like it so I did it more as his time got sorter

The next day I came in
I found out he had to get tubes
in his mouth so he could breath better.

Before they put the tubes in him he turned to me with a scared look in his face and said for me to read him his mini bible so he could listen

Few days pass they took the tubes out of him but he looked so unhappy...
he said he was unhappy because he was unable to go to church because he was to weak and he said God was upset with him

I turned to him and said...
\"God isnt mad he is with you by your side not metter what\"

He turned to me and smiled and said \"I am to weak to even pray, what will God think of that?\"

I turned to him and held his hand
and said
\"Pop all you have to say is Jesus out loud once a day and God will listen to that one word and take that as a prayer from you\"

Unfortutably he died a few days later and all I could do was say God why would you take him? As I collapsed to the floor and cryed

And now I still say God why would you take him?
I said Jeus out loud and I thought it would answer my prayers but they didnt come true.

Now it makes me question if there even if there is a God somewhere

Wow Julie, First of all like Philly said God takes people away for a reason; and we will all eventually die sadly to my dismay. But just think of it this way, your grandfather is in a better place now, where he dosn't have to live in pain. He is with you this very moment... He is watching over you cause you watched over him. Awsome job on the poem. I loved it. Keep it up.

    Love you lots,
