How could i be so stupid
To fall for you again
End up broken-hearted
Feeling nothing but pain

I keep going back to you
Thinking i could trust
My heart said it was love
But my head knew it was lust

Why do you keep doing it
Leaving me this way
Crushed and torn
Seeing darkness whilst day

How could i be so stupid
Running back for more
When i know deep down
I should be running for the door

Why do you keep playing me
Cause this is far from a game
You almost had me convinced
That you really felt the same

I guess it's all a lie
Something you do best
You think you've got me fooled
But I'm not like all the rest

How about i play along
In your twisted little game
Cause you'll be the one getting hurt
And you'll be the one to blame

Maybe I'll show some interest
In all your little friends
See how you feel now
As my broken heart mends

So I'll have my turn first
Then see what you've got
Cause that's when you'll realize
You've just lost the lot

    Good poem, you have a good sense of rhythm and rhyme. I would like you to explore your wording a bit more because I think you have a great potential as a poet to become great. Use your words more wisely, experiment more and see what depths of your body, soul and mind you can reach in your language and style.

    Excellent poem. Very emotional. There is a lot of pain and I can feel it. I especially like this part:

    Running back for more
    When i know deep down
    I should be running for the door
