LOVE

(A friend at work asked me to write this poem for his wife so he could send it to her as she lives in Burma and rarely gets to see her)

Lilies and roses
...are flowers of love
...which I feel, just like you
...fell from Heaven above

Over rooftops, through rainclouds
...I still find your face
...with your shiny bright hair
...and those eyes full of grace

Vivid memories of you
...keep on flooding back
...you are beauty, you are
...my aphrodisiac

Earth's a wonderous place now
...and I just must let you
...know that now that you're in it
...I'll never forget you
