Why??

Why does heartache affect the heart?
When the thoughts are in your head,
What makes the pulses race with speed?
And not your brain instead
Or does it give your head an ache?
And assist your thoughts to whir
Into a sumptuous whirlpool
Where all your thoughts do stir;
The reason that I ask this
Is plain as it can be
I suffer all these feelings
Are you feeling just like me?

    The poem was written well meaning wise. I think maybe next time try to get the emotions across to the reader instead of just explaining them. Otherwise, I really liked your explainations.
