Scream

How is it possible to feel so much
Yet say so little?
With every tiny movement
With every twist of my face
I'm leaking insecurities.
Yet when my mouth opens
I stand.
Speechless.

With every gesture of my hand
Every twitch dodging command
Why?Why can't you understand?
I've lost my footing, I can't stand.

I want to scream butn when I try
There's nothing there.
I giggle and bounce and ask for hugs
But each smile...each smile...
They're expensive.
And I'm tired.
