I Wish

I wish I was someone special
Someone people could see
I wish I could be someone people would notice
I wish I could be anyone but me

As I walk down the street
And as people give me weird stares
I look longingly at the boys
Wishing I could be theirs

Just because I'm different
And they are all the same
They treat me like I'm crazy
But it's them who are insane
