Life Isn't Fair

by ShatteredAngel   Nov 29, 2005

Sometimes being alive just isn't fair
you don't know right from wrong
Day by day you wake up and live your life
but you know you don't belong.

In this life, this world, this place only one thing matters
and you know that for a fact
Your happiness is what's important
without it your life won't be intact.

Your friends keep you happy
and lift you up when you're feeling down
When you're feeling blue and wanting to die
they'll make you smile instead of frown

But life isn't fair all people do is lie
if you want you can go have a cry
Coz this is my chance and I'm gonna make it work
And I don't care if I act like a jerk
Coz this is my life and my only chance
I know I can wear the pants
Just you wait and see
you'll be looking at me
Coz even if life isn't fair
I know I'll always be there
Coz I'm not a quitter
and you shouldn't be either
Coz life is our only chance
so we've gotta make it work.
