Prisoner To My Fate

In the search of serenity
i was wandering from dusk to dawn
just like a slave to my fate
blindly followed the path to me which was shown

there you were standing on edge to make a fall
just when you were about to break loose
these mountains screamed with me and you heard our call

how i ran to get hold of you?
just how desperate i was?
to stop you from the sin you were about to do

arrested you within my arm
scared but few back steps i took
lost within your charm
just when I had first look

so shocked you still were
if only you could feel my breaths
never would you anymore suffer

as the time kept drifting
i realized the pain you went through
you shared all those things
that made me wonder how anyone could do

like a prayer i heard every word you said
so lost within my own world
never before this wonderful feeling i had

by the time i could realize
the night was over and there was sunrise
by the time i could realize
her spell was all over me, i was hypnotized

like an angel you slept with a smile on your face
wondering if i was playing any role in your dream?
just didn't noticed how you were loosing life's race

its been so many years now
i am still looking at you the way i did before
waiting for you to make a move
as somewhere my heart knows, someday you will for sure
