Life- A Silky Lace

by Mezmeryz   Nov 30, 2005

I am walking on the face,
Of the earth
Wondering of the silky lace,
Since my birth
Thinking why when having fun,
There is an end
Every story that has begun,
Holds a bend

When happy thoughts of others differ,
Which lies beneath,
No-one sees the pain you suffer,
And all the grief.

Why walking along my silky lace
Upon the earth,
Hold tears of misery on my face,
And not of mirth.
Learning from my mistakes and strife,
Without disgrace
When I slip and fall throughout my life,
A Silky Lace.

I love the style this was written in, the poem is original and just great. It's so sad, it feels quite bleak and desperate. But I love your work, so that's good :) xx
