Harsh Words

I cannot avoid your harsh words
I cannot fight you again
I am too weary of this world
The hate, the pain, the betrayal
I'm too frail to endure the howling winds
Too soft, washed away with the waves
I have no strength left
I am no Portia
My soul is shattered
And I will not cut my hands
Trying to repair the broken pieces
I'm sorry for the hateful words you fling at me
But I just don't care anymore
You mean nothing to me

    Aww, this is so sad. It's good to know you won't hurt yourself over someone that has hurt you. I think it's dumb just adding more pain. Very nice poem Kim, I enjoyed reading them :)
