On With the Show

My Muse up and went
It was her time to go
She was heaven sent
On with the show

Learned my lesson in life
Keep people at arms length
Eliminates all the strife
Keeps my strength

Chain up my heart
No one gets in
Make a new start
Time to begin

Back to the old me
The one who felt no pain
I was never free
Never felt the strain

Once you truly know
You are all alone
Smile for life's show
Never let out a groan

Show no emotion
Never bare your soul
Not some magic potion
Do not need to become whole

    Really strong words that you used for this poem. However, it show what your feelings were at the moment you wrote the poem. The poem itself its great, but I wish I could have done something to make this feelings go away. Some one like you, shouldn't feel like this. Take care my friend, great poem.
