The day the heavens break open
and angels tears rain down
upon our sinful, hurtful race
will be the day we drown

The day the heavens break open
and peace falls from above
will be the day we realize
just what it means to love

The day the heavens break open
it will be too late
no chance for redemption
when you are fuelled by hate
