He Is Free (updated)

Every day brings him close
To the end of the road
Will he be another nameless ghost
Just for one more day, can he carry this load

Through the sleepless nights
and the endless days
This thing that took his rights
and put his weakness on display

The end is now near
Come closer please
So that you can hear
The cure for this disease

And in his final hours
All his secrets were told
How this place is ours
and its secrets we must hold

So the virus tearing him apart
That wont just let him be
So now he chose to depart
and for once he was free

    Good poem. I would try to make it a bit longer though cause you can add so much to this. As for the title, I would probably name it I Am Free, or something else from the poem itself.
