Forever Lover

by Bill Turner   Dec 7, 2005

There is so much I will never understand
For underneath it all I am a simple man
Our creator has a plan that is grand
I will live each day doing all that I can

I may never know what makes love hurt
Never the less I will always love you
My heart is ever ready always alert
Cherishing you for all that you do

Time has always been baffling to me
Patience is to be had at what cost?
You have let my soul run free
Without you I feel so very lost

I do not know what will become of my life
The course I have sailed changing with the tide
I only know that someday we will be husband and wife
Enjoying all in our path on this long passionate ride

We will find one another in future lives
Bringing peace and happiness to the other
Ensuring that our strength and love survives
Bound together my forever lover

We are part of a master plan
A divine force brought us together
I may be but a simple man
Simply loving you forever
