If These Walls Could Talk

If these walls could talk they'd tell a story
of a girl who dreamed big but never felt the glory.
If these walls could talk they'd tell about a girl
who once made a boy her whole world.
If these walls could talk they'd tell of a lost romance,
of a broken heart, of a girl that never stood a chance.
If these walls could talk they'd tell of a time
when a girl would pray "Lord, I wish he were mine".
If these walls could talk they'd tell of a young girl's life
where her only dream was to become this boy's wife.
If these walls could talk then maybe you'd see
that the young girl who dreamed big was none other than me.
