You Deserve

I didn't notice how I felt,
Until you were taken,
An emotion that was bleak,
Now cannot be mistaken,

It has always been there,
Just behind my mind,
But now you may be gone,
My heart is left blind,

These words I speak,
May be strong,
For the person I talk of,
But they are far from wrong,

I won't say who it is,
Or why I feel this way,
All I'll say is,
Make sure your here each day,

You may not be,
The usual person I long for,
But your that close,
Its scares me even more,

I wish I treated you better,
Like you deserve true,
No matter how hard anyone tries,
In my eyes it's not good enough for you,

You deserve more than anyone's best,
More than life has to give,
You deserve everything and more,
A happy and romantic life to live.
