Blessings

by Karla Gordon   Dec 9, 2005

I may not have a lot of money
Though I am more rich than others
A super star I am not
Blessed in many other ways.

I can see the beauty of the snow
Falling silently to the ground
The sparkling and gleam
So hard for me to describe.

I have two beautiful girls by my side
Both created and born from me
Each special in their own way
Making my life worth living.

A husband by my side each day
Who is always there regardless
No matter how cranky or ugly I may be
Faithful I always know he is.

My house may not be mine
It keeps us safe and warm
A place we call our own
For now we can know it is.

I have a mom and dad who love me
Each in their own ways
Always there to listen and support
Giving to me all they can.

Family is my biggest blessing
Happiness is created with all our love
Unable to have and do all our desires
Always knowing we have one another.

You read my poem called " needed to know" and ask why i thought such things. the last line of the poem "looking into your eyes, I saw more then I needed to know"
was actually a quote and i was inspired to write a poem to it. as for the other poems, they're true. its what i felt and what i've been through. sad, i know. but thats tragic love for you. i cant write about things i havent felt. most of my poems re sad because gu8ys dont treat me right. i've come to the conclusion that i havent been in love, but only lust. thanks for commenting on my poems.

this poem you wrote, however, speaks totally for itself. you have amazing talent!
