Looking Down

She looks down
40 stories below
The river rushing
so fast it sounds like
a fieous gun
She stands on the edge
puts her hair back in a bun
She tells herself
its better than shooting a gun
As she takes the step
to her death
her life flashes before her
For once in her life
She feels weightless and free
But it doesnt last long
She hits the river
with such force
Now she has left everyone that she thought she hurt
