Words

It feels like.

What does it feel like??
I can't even remember words to describe how I feel,
That's what it feels like.

I love words.
Words are my passion, my soul.
They are my past and will be my future.
But I can't find the words to describe my emotions.

It's not that the words have failed me,
It's that I have failed the words.

In succumbing to dragging exhaustion,
I have forgotten the way...
How they run through my veins, how they make my heart beat.
And that is a failure.
