Self-Separation.

Self-Separation.

Yep, you’re doing it all over again,
You’re distancing yourself,
And pushing everyone away,
Like it doesn’t even matter,
It’s self-separation,
Don’t act like you don't know,
'Cause I see it in your eyes,
You’re pushing harder,
So I won’t see whats there,
You’re making it harder on yourself,
I don't see how it helps,
This distancing,
This blatant denial,
I see it in your smile,
You’re trying to hide behind,
Hoping no one will see whats inside,
Don’t act like it's not in plain site,
'Cause I'm sure everyone can see,
You’re running from it all,
And hiding behind an act,
This lie can't last,
I'm sure you know,
That sometime soon,
It’ll all crumble,
Then fail,
It’s easy to believe,
In what’s not there,
On the outside at least it’s real,
But I’m sure you know,
On the inside it’s hollow,
The illusion can’t withstand,
Such an attack as you play,
But this separations not going to help,
Because it’s only taking away,
What’s not meant to leave,
Yes, I can see through,
And I know what’s inside,
You’re not kidding anyone,
With this self-separation.
