Take a deep look inside yourself
Do you really like what you see ?
Are you living life to it's fullest
The way it was meant to be

When you are down in the dumps
Thinking life has treated you unfair
Think about the family of that murdered child ...taken
Now does your life really compare

The person gasping for breathe
Praying to see just ..one more day
Stop and think for one split second
Your life could have turned out this way

Driving down the freeway , annoyed
The old man in front driving way to slow
In a hurry to get where you're going
The old man trying to slow down , where he soon will go

Making fun of a person's race or color
Or spreading stories that are untrue
What if someday the tables are turned
The person made fun of now...is you

Looking at a Christmas present
Not quite what you wanted this year
Remember the heart of that little girl
Her only Christmas wish...for her daddy to be here

Sometimes it's just the little things
That can change how this world turns
A simple smile to a stranger
To feel noticed is what ever person yearns

We must live our lives to the fullest
Be thankful for what we have each day
Never taking life for granted
Help others in every way

The one thing we can't stop or change
No matter how we try
The only choice that is not up to us
Is someday we all will die

Don't take the time to drown in pity
Lift yourself up when you are down
