The Unnamed

by Timothy S   Dec 19, 2005

I seem to stand so tall and be unafraid
But inside I'm shaking, trying to get away
Know someday I'll fall all the way to shame
So with each step I walk, deepening my grave
Carving out everything withheld, for other's sake
Taking thoughts only as far as I want them to be saved
Won't reach out, I have to be brave
Face my punishment, sleep in the bed I've made
Created this tragic tale for the world
To remember my words and to forget the name
After me, nothing will be the same
