The Poet's Blank Canvas (vers.3)

by Fighter (Ariane L.)   Dec 20, 2005

Staring at his blank canvas,
The poet seems at a loss of words.
He sits there, holding his pen,
Waiting for a flash of inspiration.

Hours pass by as the sheet remains blank.
Driven to the edge of sanity,
The poet finally finds words to draw
The painted truth onto his canvas.

His pen carefully traces the words
That remained lost for so long.
A smile forms on his lips as he reads
his masterpiece:
"The Poet's Blank Canvas".
