Moon

As i picked up my pen in hand,
i wondered if i be able to write again .
Failing to find my lost inspiration,
i struggled hard to find appropriate words.

Again and again i scribbled dozen sheets of papers.
But my heart failed each time to give its translation .
Tired i closed my eyes , thinking of what must i write.

As darkness drew in , i saw the cheerful bright moon in the silence of night,
As if watching over me ,inspiring me to rise above my dark solitude.

Overwhelmed with this new inspiration i took my pen back and alas the miracle happened .
Within minutes i penned a beautiful poem ,
based on eternal friendship between a Star and the Moon.
