I Am You

by Timothy S   Dec 23, 2005

I'm the result of a life without care
Letting everything fall through your hands
Sharing compassion with self when no one understands
That I cry to be happy, for deep nourishment
The soul that craves a tears kidnapping to nuture him
Staring in the mirror through the hair in my face
Looking in depth for fear of something that was never there
The ghost to trace my steps to find how I got here
But the ocean never ends, replacing lost memories
The one's I've forgotten, one's I don't want to remember
I change everyday into the same skin I wear
The same emotionless face, same blank stare
You can see right through me, open your eyes
And find that I'm what you are, don't ask me why
Don't run for help, just open your eyes, just try
