Winter arrives

by laura anne   Dec 25, 2005

The smell of winter lingers in the air
the leaves turn colors its a beauty so rare
A chilling wind turns our noses red
And all the bushes begin to grow dead
The dark creeps up earlier each day
The light shines less and moves further away
The hettle screams, the water is done
We make hott coco, make a fire for fun
I look out the window, see a mist in the sky
It's the first snow fall of the season
See you later fall, good bye.
