You left

You left in a whirlwind
of tears and good-byes
saying you'll return
in the blink of an eye
I've tried to forget
tried to live on
but my memory keeps reminding me
that you are gone
will my eyes ever
see your face
or will i just remember
all the times you graced
you live in my thought
and die in my dreams
can i be sure that
you will use all your means
and return to me living
please tell me
that i will return
to your arms

    You're a great writer...you commented on one of my poems asking how you move on and take a risk with someone else with all the hurt you've recieved in the past...well here's my answer....you can't sit and grieve over a guy who didn't care enough about you to treat you right...yes it's hard to move on, but don't you think it's better to find someone who will treat you right rather than hurt you all the time....I took the risk and am in the best relationship I've ever had. I'm gonna add you to my favorites because you're a great writer...keep em' coming. :)
