They never seem to notice us...

We close are eyes at night
Just so we can see their face
We watch them all the time
Wish to be in their embrace

We smile at them whenever
We see them walk past
We wait outside the classroom
For when they've finished class

They never seem to notice us
When we laugh, smile or cry
It can hurt so much sometimes
We feel the need to die

We write their name on our books
Some of us on our wrists
When we see them with their partners
We unconsciously clench our fists

We can't get them off our mind
We wonder if they think of us
The thought can break us down
If we're not tough enough

We'd do anything for them
If only they could see what's inside
If only they knew we loved them
We'd no longer need to hide

We can't breath when we see them
We can't even speak
How is it one person
Can make us go so weak?

If only one day they could look
And see that we're there
Maybe then we wouldn't feel
So much painful despair

They'd walk over to us and smile
We'd be there's to hold
They'd protect us just like we'd dreamt
Keep us warm when it's gone cold

All our dreams would come true
As soon as we felt there kiss
It hurts to think
We'll never know that bliss

Because in the end we've got to face it
This is the way it's always go to be
But it won't stop us from dreaming
That one day it's us they'll see

But if we haven't got the strength to tell them
Then I guess they'll never know
So they'll never love us back
So why dont we just let go?
