In His Picture

by Lucy Loves Not   Dec 30, 2005

A picture
Portrays such serenity

Judged because his
smile depicts childish bliss,
as well as it seeps from
his eyes.

He's what anyone should
consider photogenic...
He nourishes his lies
Between this roll of film.

Intangible, the terrors
which have rapped him
relentlessly.

The chips on his teeth
whisper warnings, yet they
speak of no demise?

Pity.
Beautiful child,
share your despair.
