Dear Reader

by Lady Vengeance   Jan 1, 2006

Dear reader,
Tell me what you think
About today's debate
On violence against innocents
And childhood's filled with hate

Dear reader,
Is it right to strike
A girl who's done no wrong,
A boy who only wants respect?
Trust doesn't last for long

Dear reader,
If you were the one
Who handled every blow
Without a single, bloodstained tear
How much love would you know?

Dear reader,
These are facts of life
They're living on hell's brink
These children have no one to hold
Please tell me what you think.

Thanks for ur comments! my inspiration basically comes from random thoughts, ideas, or even objects... this will sound weird, but for this one, i was sitting alone at home just thinking about random crap as i do, adn then i noticed the tv remote. I started wondering what it would be like to be a tv remote, adn i kinda felt sorry for it. one thought led to another, then i thought of addressing the readers upfront with common problems in society. (too much television impact being why i thought of this). anyway, this seemed appropraite....

    hope that answers your question.
    always, Suzie
