Beautiful Madness

As I look in the mirror
At my picture of perfection
A single tear slides down my face
Nothing will ever be right

I stare at my blue-green eyes
Watch the tears rise against my eyelids
They were so beautiful when I was a little girl
Now the compliments come no more

They used to say I was gorgeous
Had the face of an angel
I was foolish enough to once believe them
Now realizing my true appearance

There are so many surgerys I want done
Can I afford them, I don't know
I want to look like I used to
That little girl with ocean eyes

I want to have the perfect smile
Teeth shining bright white
I want to look innocent again
Unscarred from the past

Want the big boob look
Feet looking cute in heels
I want to look young again
Like I was a child

I used to feel this way
Until that man came in my life
He showed me I dont need this
The Hollywood look I dreamed of

On our dates he won me over
He said not only do I have beautiful looks
But my personality was gorgeous as well
This man is everything I've wanted

I finally got the esteem I needed
To be confident in myself
He taught me to love me for me
And look past my beautiful madness
