For Bringing Home The Devil In Disguise

by Russell   Jan 3, 2006

A morbid act no one saw coming
a story made with a scar,
nobody saw what it was becoming
but it slowly became bizarre

how things everyone saw
She passed it off as a fall, and nothing more.
How can this fall explain a broken jaw?
Surely that couldn't happen by just hitting the floor

She went from the happiest woman alive,
to wishing she would die.
All these lies she began to contrive,
because she was afraid of this one guy.

She thought he was sweet and nice,
such a lovely surprise,
but she would pay the ultimate price,
for bringing home the devil in disguise
