A Rose

My beautiful rose
So perfect in everyway
So beautiful in the sunshine
Or in the early morning mist
Touching my heart ever so gently
Yet making it ache with love
I gaze at you under the sunset
Petals gently ruffled by the breeze
Yet so warm and serene
Under the moonlit sky
Your beauty even clearer
The flower of happiness
In my life and in my dreams
With me all the way
Like drops of honey
Soothing the pains of Life

    I liked this poem so much. It reminds me of laying in the grass on a hot summer day, next to a rose garden. The words you used fit so well together.
