Vampire

***there is a novel I'm writing that goes along with this***

As the moon kisses my skin
i move quickly through the night
the darkness completely surrounds me
for I've never know the light

in the darkness all alone
forever must i hide
one day soon we'll rule again
for now my time i must bide

no family nor friends
very few beings i trust
i live and hunt alone
by myself i awake a dusk

through the night i sail
under the dark bitter sky
for eternity i must kill
or else i shall die

i find you all alone
i wrap my arms around your waist
i tilt your head exposing your neck
and sink my teeth in for the taste

your blood it helps to feed me
as it glides through my dead veins
your screams they help to ease
my everlasting pain

the pain it is bad
but the hunger is great
the loneliness it hurts
but this is my fate

i had no choice in the matter
i have this gift against my will
for centuries Ive lived
and for centuries Ive killed

minutes from dawn
i return from the light
climb into my bed
forever hiding from the light

This is AMAZING! Really an enjoyable read. Feature this if you haven't already. I thoroughly enjoyed it, real talent. Would love to read the novel. The picture you described while writing this was so vivid. Kinda reminded me of the movie Lost Boys as well. Simply awesome! 5/5
