You Can't Have One Without The Other

Without suffering
There would be no compassion
But those who suffer don't understand

Without hate
There would be no love
But tell that to those who are filled with hatred

Without wars
There would be no peace
But tell that to those who have lost someone in war

Without hell
There would be no heaven
So go tell that to all the people going to hell

Without darkness
There would be no light
Well tell that to those who live in the darkness

Without death
There would be no life
But tell that to all the people that want to die

Without disease
There would be no cure
Go tell that to all the people dying soon

Without sadness
There would be no happiness
But tell that to someone crying themselves to sleep every night

Without lies
There would be no forgiveness
Go ahead and tell that to those that don't forgive

Without questions
There would be no answers
You should tell that to someone trying to find some

Without enemies
There would be no friends
Well go tell that to those with too many enemies and no friends

Without fear
There would be no courage
Bet tell that to someone who is fearful

Without pain
There would be no pleasure
But tell that to all those who live in constant pain

Without boredom
There would be no excitement
But when we are bored that doesn't matter

Without poor people
There would be no rich people
Butt those who don't have enough money to eat don't care

Without struggle
There would be no success
But tell that to the people struggling for their lives

Without distance
There would be no intimacy
But tell that to someone like me...
