Family Lies

by MissAlotta   Jan 15, 2006

Normal Day It Seems,
Crying Herself To Sleep,
Dad Yelling At Her,
She Cries An Uncontrollable Weep,

"Pick Up!" She Whimpers,
Her Hands Shaking With Fear,
"His Drunk Again!"
The Pounding Suddenly Disappear

She Opens Her Door With Wary,
Looks Down The Hall,
He Jumps Out of The Shadows,
Then She Hits the wall

Eyes Blinking With Confusion,
Chains Cover Her Hands And Feet,
She Begs Him Not to do This,
But He Severely Starts To Beat

Crimson Covered His Hands,
He Looked Down Into Her Eyes,
Unaware Of What He Done,
He Tried To Conceal The Lies

Days Later Her Funeral Was Held,
His Eyes Full of Fake Tears,
Grave Stone Full of Deception,
He Killed Her just to Cover His Own Fears.

Yet again I love it to pieces.. I can never quite work your poems out. Just when I think I'm getting close, something catches my eye that hasn't before and I love that about the way your write... you seem beautifully broken, in just the right places, but not too much to damage the beauty of your soul. xxx
