Sky's tears of snow

by Once an Angel   Jan 15, 2006

The Sky’s Tears of Snow

Rain is often referred to as the sky's tears,
and the sky's angry when the thunder nears.
Crying buckets of water to cover the earth,
taking away the smiles, ending the mirth.
Yet when the snow is falling we all smile,
go out and play with white cold balls for awhile.
No one understanding that the sky is in pain,
so cold and frozen it can't cry the same.
The sky's heart gets frozen and broken,
unable to relieve its pain, all unspoken.
The sky cried for the winter's dying land,
wishing it could wave nature's living hand.
Not knowing that the spring is coming soon,
the sky cries on like the wolves howl to the moon.

Just a wierd thought that came to me. It was snowing outside and I randomly had this idea of a poem. Hope you like it.

Wow! This was beautiful. You know, it kinda reminds me of people. It has so much emotion, human emotions but it's been put into context with the sky. Just awsome.
