Men in My Life: Part 1

These men in my life put me through hell,
They got me in a trance, in a horrible spell.
They hurt me badly, and scarred me more.
They smashed the smile I always wore.

First my dad, oh daddy dear,
Now you show up to dry my tear?
You're 13 years to late, dad.
You've ignored the chances you've always had.

Do you realize because of you there is an empty space within me?
I need to fill that void so I'm full, so I'm free.
Why did you leave us?
Were we not enough?
Telll me the truth although it's tough.

Tough for me to hear you left and dont' care,
Don't care we've always needed you there.
I haven't seen you for about 6 years,
Seeing you would just bring more tears.

Do me a favor and never call.
Do me a favor and never come back at all.
Because I hate you so much after all you've done.
I'll leave you alone and let you have your fun.

    I can relate with this one too. my father is not there for me either. he hasnt been for 12 years so i know the pain that it can cause. you have a wonderful way with words and i think you are a wonderful person who has wonderfully visible emotions.

    Ummm I have a really nice Daddy and I don't know what I would do without him because he keeps my mother and I from killing eachother. My heart hurts for you to think of a daughter who has to grow up without her a strong father. I love you hunni!
