Seduced by sin

by Melissa   Jan 19, 2006

The temptation of you,
took the angel right out of me;
and the lure of seduction
overcame my abilities
to act rationally.
Butterflies disguised
the ugly truth;
of me falling
into a disastrous
mess of lies with you.
Seductively I allowed you
to taste my every move
and stare down my insecurities
until sweet victory.
You teased me
with the poisoned apple,
knowing my weakness
for forbidden fruit.
Carelessly I took a bite
into my lustful desire;
and instantly sin melted
on my tongue,
slowly finding it's way
throughout my veins.
Now I'm as far in
as I'll ever be out.
