Echo of the Anger

by Fighter (Ariane L.)   Jan 20, 2006

Taking the anger out on the bag,
She shuts herself out from the world.
She forgets about those around her.
She forgets about everything but the rage.

The words unspoken for so long
Take on a life of their own.
Her rage, bottled inside,
Echos in the night.

It all finally escapes her lips,
As her scream echos in the night.
Unaware of what she is doing,
She tries to release it all.

The intensity in her movements
Electrifies the room, passionate anger.
When the energy finally leaves her,
She collapses to the floor.

With tears in my eyes,
I realize I can't escape the pain.
I can releave the anger,
But the pain never fades...

Looking at the punching bag,
I continue to fight day after day.
My anger echos in the room,
Unaware of the world that surrounds me.

*draft. i just had to get it out.
