Another lost

by LoSt   Jan 24, 2006

The year is only half way over
And five are already lost
Everyone is thinking back
About what it cost

Just a whisper of their names
And tears start to flow
The teachers try to scare us
Beg us to please drive slow

Bring a mortician in to force us to relive
The pain of those days
When we walked the halls
And heard someone say

Jessica died this weekend
Dylan died today
Mike died last night
Jason died Sunday
All car crashes
They were going too fast
Or someone was drunk and the car clashes

Brandon died too
He shot himself
Right in front of his little brother
No one knew how he felt

Go to school each day
Afraid to listen to the teachers
Because one of them might bring the news
Of another lost

This is so true you never know what to expect out of life one day they are here and the next day they are gone
