Home is where the heart is
Where you can be you
Without fear or doubts
And as I sit in this place I call my house
I wonder where my home is
I hope there's no yelling
And that maybe my father won't drink so much
Maybe its a place where everyone can be happy
Or where the suicides of friends were just a bad dream
A nightmare to wake up from
The longer I sit and the longer I think
The more I realize there is nothing to look forward to
My dreams are dead
Wherever I go ridicule follows
Wherever I go I can't escape the past
The scars of bad days won't fade
Home will not fix the ugly and twisted
Scarred and disgusting
Fat and bitter
How can there be a home for me?
When inside i will always be alone?
