One Wish

by Bill Turner   Jan 25, 2006

If I only had one wish to be granted
It would be for my friends and family
I would wish all that I know get their desire
As I know these good souls would do right
Everyone happy as they sleep tonight

The world would be a better place
Full of peace and harmony
Hunger and disease a thing of the past
No more people living in the street
People I know smiling when we meet

Families planning for college
Smiles upon their faces
The future no longer a worry
Love touching all that they do
That is why I would give my wish to all of you

My world would be a better place
Knowing deep within my heart
I was able to make a difference
Changing the lives of those I know
Like they say: reap what you sow

Some wishes would be wasted
Mistakes in life repeated
Others for the greater good
Lying here at night all the while
My friends and family enjoy a smile

Very nice Bill. I would make alot of the same kind of wishes as well. Especially the one where my family has smiles n their faces. Well done.
