Dreamcatcher

by Lady Vengeance   Jan 31, 2006

Tightly bound and knotted well
Between it's rounded rim
Empty to the human eye
But full of fears within

Coloured beads of happy thoughts
Painted with good will
Feathers of an angel's wing
By it's side hang still

In everything so beautiful
There's something very dark
It takes only the ones it needs
It's midnights Noah's Ark

Every time you fall asleep
It filters out your mind
Binding everything you hate
And webbing it inside

Help me now to lay in peace
11, the clocks chime
Now I lay to sleep again
Dream-catcher, it is time.

This is a really good poem. I use to have one of those dream catchers. I think they really work. Some people don't but I do. I think that they are so neat.
