You say I can't be real.

by Stephen   Feb 1, 2006

You say I can't be real.
That I can't be true.
But if that's the case
Why am I standing next to you?

You say that I'm no good,
You tell your friends I'm bad.
But it's my shoulder you cry on,
When you're aggravated and sad.

I tell you all my secrets.
You tell me all yours.
But yet you still don't trust me,
I can't do anymore.

Well too bad for you.
I guess you'll never see
All the crazy things I'd do
To bring you back to me.

To have you in my arms to hold,
and to grow old with.
It's sad we couldn't keep control,
you're who I want to share my soul with.

Every night I sat and cried,
Wishing to die, because I couldn't have you.
Until one night I asked GOD "WHY?!
What do I have to do?!"

Should I sit and wait for you,
Or should I move on with my life?
Do I have a chance of breaking through,
Will you ever see the light?

You are all I want my girl to be.
I don't got you, so I'm deserted.
I'll stay if I know things will one day change
So tell me, will it be worth it?
