Burning Holes

by The Wingless   Feb 1, 2006

Dead, I am the one,
I exterminate for fun,
Slipping through the trees,
Killing off the breeze.

Dead, I am the sky,
Watching angels cry,
Laughing with no care,
Taking the biggest dare.

Dead, I am the rat,
Yet, I feast upon the cat.
Soft is your fur,
Dying as you purr.

Dead, I am the dog,
The hound from hell; they cry,
The devil's on your back,
I can never die.

Dead, I am the pool,
I spill from the fool,
Take what you need,
Go nowhere as you bleed.

I'm ignoring all the pleas,
Killing is my disease,
Watching people die,
Making people cry.

Burning...

I loved this one too. The layout and the scheme of it kept my attention throughout it. I really liked how the character related themselves to something else. Keep up the good work. You have a lot of talent. *5/5*

What can I say, Mike, other than it was 'delightfully morbid'. Hurrah. Excellent work. One of my faves so far.

    Cheers, Krystle
