What If?

by Bill Turner   Feb 3, 2006

Kick out the jams!
The weekend is here...
Let down your hair...
Toss that frown...
Suck back a beer
Let loose a smile...
Or three...
Get out!
Relax...
Live loud!
A little too proud...
Live for today...tomorrow is a promise
Often unfulfilled
Leave it all on the table...
Hold nothing back!
Was that not fun?
Now live that way every day!
No reason not to
What if tomorrow does not come?
Tomorrow became today...
Always that way

I like the message it sends, but its not the best poem, no imagery or much depth.

You are so right, we should all live by such a code.
