Life or Death

by Christine   Feb 6, 2006

What can you do,
When you are too strong to cry?
Your tears can't be seen;
Your sobs can't be heard.

What happens to you,
When you are completely alone?
Your loved ones have gone;
Your heart has been torn.

How can you survive,
On an earth with no love?
Not a soul to trust;
All love at a loss.

Not a shoulder near to lean on;
Not a single person on which you can rely;
Is it truly worth it to stay here,
Or should you follow your conscience and die.

What worth is an empty life?
No love, no fun, absolutely no one.
Nothing but the deepest of depression;
Sorrow so painful nothing else hurts.

Why should you suffer every day,
When you can take away this misery?
Just lift the blade and close your eyes;
Don't look back as the blood flies.
Happiness is not a guarantee,
But you'll have peace, and you'll be free.
